Random Shots
I don't read nearly enough George Pelecanos. I just finished Shame the Devil. It starts with that classic staple of crime fiction, the heist gone wrong. Twenty pages and five dead bodies later, I was already hooked. It's as good as any Pelecanos I've read.
Now I'm reading The Cold Six Thousand by James Ellroy. It picks up where American Tabloid left off.
"Where the Party's At" is something I wrote in 2001 and never published. I didn't hate it, so I figured I'd post it here.
Not much else to report. Today's summary: I need to read more Pelecanos, and Richard Price needs to write more books.
